Karen's primary focus will continue to be informed by the issues that are most important to our community.  Some of Karen's priorities include:

• Support gun violence reduction initiatives & gun safety programs for children.

• Tourism development and creating our own unique destination brand.

• Access to Sustainable Workforce Housing for all and encouraging more workforce housing.

• Implement youth programs geared to improve life readiness & transitioning from high school to higher education, vocational training and careers.

• Champion comprehensive communications with all aspects of our community and ensuring that our elderly residents are aware of and have access to public services, programs and important information.

• Work with community partners to address long range traffic & parking issues.​
